Barefoot Floors is a QLD based tile injection company, established in July 2010. Since its beginning, Barefoot Floors has grown from servicing the Wide Bay region to now servicing the Wider Brisbane Area, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton/ Capricornia, Wide Bay as well as Melbourne and the surrounding areas.

Barefoot Floors was founded by Lynn & Steve Rathbone, who live in Bundaberg QLD.
As a qualified wall & floor tiler with 15 years experience in the industry, Steve was bombarded with enquiries related to repairing tiles that
had become drummy, tented or cracked due to delamination.
The old solution was to lift the tiles up, grind off the adhesive from each tile (creating huge quantities of dust, not great for your washing on the line!) as well as the glue inside the home-more mess!

It was then that Barefoot Floors developed a system using an adhesive that could be pumped underneath the tile in order to restore the tile to it's original state. Following up on the idea, Barefoot Floors commenced work as one of the only companies in Australia to offer under-tile injection. For many years, the only option was a DIY, off the shelf adhesive that was pumped in by hand, which was still quite messy and difficult to use. However, as demand grew for the service, Barefoot Floors adapted the process to develop a under-tile injection system which is dust free and mess free, all ready to walk on within a few hours!
There is no need to shift furniture or relocate for the night, your tiles will be good as new by the time you get home from work.
The benefits of the system we created is that we have now achieved a product and service that I can offer clients that will not only save them money, but also removes the hassle and time involved with tearing up your entire floor to get it re-tiled.
